War Thunder - How to do the Split S maneuver efficiently
53In this video i'll show you how to do the Split-S maneuver with the Mitsubishi A6M2 aircraft. Start by turning your aircraft on a 180° roll and dive, executing a half-loop.
Please don't do this maneuver too early or your engine will fail due to fuel starvation. Your aircraft will loose speed and you will miss your target, exposing your pilot to the enemy gunners more easily. If you miss the target don't engage him from behind or you will get hit by the gunners. A6M2 aircraft has very light armour, made of aluminium alloy, which makes the aircraft an easy target for turrets. However, his maneuverability and turn time it's one of the best in game.
