3Mount and Blade Warband How To Look For Easy Castle Siege? Looking for a lightly defended castle is easy if you look for a place where battle usually happens. It is the best strategy to increase the chance to capture a castle where there are few garrisoned troops is stationed in a castle. I only used 9 units during the siege and there are not many defenders in the castle. My 8 Elite Companions using Heavy Chargers and wear Lordly Armor Sets - Lordly Winged Great Helmet, Lordly Plate armor, Lordly Plate Boots, Lordly Gauntlets, and Reinforced Huscarl's Round Shield with Balanced Elite Scimitar, Heavy Great Bardiche, and Heavy Great Hammer as weapons.
