This is a live run of WarBirds! Today I'll be conducting some simulated torpedo/bombing runs against enemy carriers in small formations. I'll be proceeding as if the torpedo is a Mark 13 naval torpedo dropped from the Devastator. After looking at the stats I'll try to drop from around 500 feet, and as fast as I can get it, hopefully close to 300 mph. I'll be aiming to get it as close as possible, but the torpedo was said to have a range of up to 18000 ft. I'll definitely be going for much closer than that. Lets see how this goes, the Devastator was not known for making it back from these kinds of runs, but later SBD's using the Mark 13 successfully sank the Yamoto in April of 1945. Wish me luck...
