Sonic Fracture is a Warframe Augment Mod for Banshee's Sonic Boom that allows it to temporarily strip armor off enemies.

This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of Genius under Cephalon Suda, or the rank of Partner under The Perrin Sequence, and spending ReputationLargeBlack? 25,000 to purchase.

Sonic Fracture's armor reduction is affected by Power Strength. To completely remove a target's armor, Power Strength should be increased by 43% at minimum.

This can be achieved with an Intensify at maximum rank and a rank 1 Blind Rage (+48%), which still allows for maximum Power Efficiency. Alternatively, a rank 4 Blind Rage (+45%) can also be used at the cost of a -25% Power Efficiency penalty.

Duration of armor reduction is affected by Power Duration.

Subsequent casts of Sonic Boom reset the duration of the armor reduction. The armor reduction does stack.

Affected enemies have a green aura around them identical to that displayed by Corrosive damage.
