18Currently working my way through the @warlordgames- @2000ADcomics line, and after failing to get all the Strontium Dog Packs, I am attempting to do better with the other lines. I managed to sneak through Customs quicker with this set and got wave 2 of Judge Dredd earlier than peeps in the UK. So to celebrate, we are unboxing everything this week!

The cliched impression the majority of Mega-City inhabitants have of the Citi-Def is of military wannabes bingeing on Tri-D action vids and barely able to point their weapons in the right direction. This view is not all that wide of the mark, which makes Citi-Def extremely dangerous when block wars begin - they have a habit of pillaging their armoury for the biggest flashiest most destructive weapons they have at their disposal...
From bombastic leaders with a power trip to barely trained medics, to troops wielding heavy weaponry they pose serious threats to friend and foe as well as the Justice Department and wider populace.

Not all Citi-Def units have a Jaeger Squad but those who do often consider them to be an elite force. Each member of the Jaeger Squad is a full-time Citi-Def soldier dedicated to protecting their block against all enemies. Training hard in infiltration skills and the disruption of communications, the Jaeger Squad is as close to a commando unit as any Citi-Def is likely to get.
Though still far from the highly disciplined Judges, members of the Jaeger Squad gain a great deal of respect from other soldiers of their Citi-Def unit and can prove to be quite lethal in block wars.

When the heavy spit gun just isn’t enough, Citi-Def units will wheel out the spit cannon. Much too large to be used by a single soldier, the spit cannon is mounted on emplacements and used by a full crew. Capable of churning through more than 10,000 rounds per minute, the multi-barrelled spit cannon is a truly vicious weapon favoured by the most psychotic members of the Citi-Def.

There are many types who join the Citi-Def for many different reasons. Those who join the crew of a weapon emplacement embrace raw destruction above all else. With a tendency to shout in normal conversation due to time spent so close to heavy weaponry, these Citi-Def soldiers are loud, bombastic, and have an unhealthy passion for big guns - which they normally give a girl’s name.
Only mounted on vehicles and semi-mobile emplacements, the sonic cannon is a massive weapon intended to incapacitate large crowds through ultrasonic waves causing nausea, shortness of breath, or even more unpleasant results. Found in the armouries of both the Justice Department and the Citi-Def, its only real purpose is to be used against the citizens of Mega-City One.
