The factory must grow indeed, but right now you better run !

This short film was created as part of my training in the 3D designer formation at EMC Malakoff.
In the creation process I used : Blender 4.0, Golaem in Maya, Gaea, Plasticity, Embergen, After Effects, Substance Painter, Photoshop and Premiere.

The biters crowd simulation was done in Maya using the wonderful Golaem crow simulation addon.
Explosions and cannon blasts were simulated and rendered using Embergen.
I made heavy use of geometry nodes in this project, as an advanced scattering tool, in procedural animations and in advanced procedural materials generation.

I'm not affiliated to Wube in any way and this video was created as an exercise in the context of my studies.
The non-environmental models are based on Factorio but were entirely recreated by myself
