Using the mystic Kaguya's time travel abilities, Ma Chao goes back in his past to the Battle of Yiling, where all of his comrades sacrificed themselves to cover his retreat. Now that he has the opportunity to relive the past, Ma Chao has resolved to stand his ground and save all of his comrades. Unfortunately, Huang Zhong still dies after sacrificing himself by closing the castle doors behind him to slow the demon army's advance.
