Hello my friends!
Here is the new video about the Sully Hudson landing. I am real B737 Captain and I was woundering if it is possible to land on the RW of nearby airports but not on Hudson River. I know that the retun flights to La Guardia was simulated by test pilots on real Airbus A320 simulator and pilots were capable to perform a safe landing in origin airport and Teterboro airport across the Hudson river. I tried myself om Boeing737NG sinse I am B737 type rated and B737 and A320 are very fimilar in glide ratio. So the question is How to avoid the Hudson landing made by Sully. Well my friends, even though I was successful in both of my tries I still think that Hudson landing was the most safe option in Miracle on Hudson case.
