Pixel sind die einzelnen Farbwerte einer digitalen Rastergrafik - auch als Bildpunkte bekannt. Aber was sind Voxel? Phil erklärt uns im Video, was genau ein Voxel und was der Nutzen hinter dieser Darstellungstechnik ist. Kurios zu wissen: Die Voxeltechnik kommt aus der Medizin und findet dort schon seit Mitte der 80er-Jahre Anwendung; in Spielen zum ersten Mal mit Commanche 1992.
