The Atari Jaguar was marketed heavily as a 64 bits machine? But was it really? Long story short, no, it wasn't. It was a 32 bit system with several co-processors that made it very difficult and confusing to program.
As a result nobody could exploit the real power of the console and with barely 150000 units sold it quickly dissapeared from the market.
