0The rules for this challenge are as follows:
1. If I get detected (a.k.a. enter an alert phase) I must quit the game, delete my save file, and start over fresh.
2. Challenge is complete upon exiting the Blume building at the end of Motherload.
3. Missions that force an alert state are exempt from the challenge, of course.
I am using some mods, but only ones that don't affect gameplay or give any kind of advantage, even theoretical. They are:
- One that decreases graphics even further than the game normally allows. This game is extremely resource-intensive, even on the latest and greatest hardware. I highly doubt a 3090 Ti could get a solid 60 FPS with all low settings.
- One that makes most of the normally-unskippable cutscenes in the intro mission skippable. This is purely so I don't have to waste close to 30 minutes watching unskippable cutscenes each attempt.
- One that skips the intro logo videos on game boot.
The screen getting cut off on the left and right edges should be fixed from the next part onwards.
