15What's up guys and welcome back to Watch Dogs 2!! Ubisoft are back with the sequel to 2014's Watch Dogs. Leaving Chicago and Aiden Pearce behind, Watch Dogs 2 takes place in San Francisco with a brand new Protagonist: Marcus Holloway. Marcus is a self taught hacker, accused of a crime against BLUME he did not commit. DedSec, a secret hacking collective, notices his skills and recruits him into their group. They inform him of Blume's misdeeds with ctOS in Chicago and their plans for ctOS 2.0 in San Francisco. Together with the leader of DedSec, Marcus declares war on Blume, fighting them at every corner, in the hopes of revealing their true motives to the public. It's time to stand together, take back this city and return power to the people!!
It's been 2 1/2 years since Watch Dogs and Ubisoft have been hard at work creating a whole new city we can turn into a hacker's playground. The first game received a good bit of criticism but i really enjoyed the first Watch Dogs, i felt like a badass on a mission for revenge. My biggest issue was the driving in the first game so i'm hoping they've really changed things up. I've never been to San Francisco so getting to experience it in Watch Dogs 2 has me really excited. It's a brand new city with a new protagonist and a crap ton of new hacker abilities, i cannot wait to jump in :D LET'S GO!!

Similar to its predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 is an action-adventure game with stealth elements. Played from a third-person perspective, the game features an open world set in a fictionalized version of San Francisco, an area more than twice as large as the Chicago setting from Watch Dogs. The city of San Francisco consists of six different areas: the downtown area, Civic, Coast, Oakland, Marin, and Silicon Valley, all of which have different characteristics and aesthetics. Players can navigate the city on-foot or by the various vehicles featured in the game, such as cars, trucks, motorbikes, quad bikes and boats. The driving mechanic was overhauled and was designed to be more accessible. The players can also shoot their weapons while driving. Marcus also has improved acrobatic skills, and has the ability to parkour around the city.
WATCH_DOGS2 features a new protagonist; Marcus Holloway. All hacks from the previous game have returned, along with new, more in-depth hacks called "contextual hacks." When the player activates the Profiler system, instead of the previous on screen display window, the entire screen morphs into a hacking view outlining civilians, automobiles, and any hacking opportunities.
In WATCH_DOGS2, you are now part of DedSec, and the game introduces a co-op system in which the player can complete side missions or main missions with another player. New vehicles have been introduced, such as scooters and ATVs. The player has a drone which they can deploy anytime, through which they can hack objects mentioned above. The parkour has changed drastically so that the player can climb faster and move around the environment more fluidly.
The police A.I. has undergone a major overhaul from its heavily criticized predecessor, the Chicago Police Department The police can now arrest NPC's who commit crimes, even if Marcus frames them with fake evidences and have them arrested in result (if this happens, police officers can also arrest each other). The police will also break up any street fights and respond with lethal force to criminals who are actively shooting at the player or themselves. They can also be seen on patrol more often in the streets, increasing the chances of assisting Marcus clear out an area full of thugs, provided that he himself does not get involved.
