🏢 Government Power | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) spoke this Sunday (6.Jul.2025) at the opening of the BRICS Summit of Heads of State, in Rio. In his speech, he said that the world is witnessing "unparalleled collapses of multilateralism" and that "the advent of the UN marked the defeat of Nazifascism and the birth of collective hope”. He also stated that BRICS is an heir to the non-aligned movement of the Cold War. Without multilateralism, the autonomy of countries is at risk.
