Let's play Wayward, the brand new roguelike game that hearkens back to the actual Rogue--as in, the whole reason for the term roguelike. Gameplay in Wayward features top-down randomly generated worlds, turn-based movement and combat, and survival and crafting the likes not normally seen in survival games. If you're looking to scratch the itch of old school roguelike, but want new school survival and crafting, Wayward may be the game for you. Thank you to developer Unlok for the press key to play Wayward beta 2.0, now available in Early Access on Steam. My apologies to all as I realized this video slipped out earlier than it was supposed to and I caught it as quickly as I could.

We have lots to do before we can survive in this world, so let's play Wayward and learn how to survive the first day thanks to the rather comprehensive tutorial that guides you on the first day. It's going to be bloody good gameplay.

Wayward is a turn-based, top-down, wilderness survival roguelike.
