PM Modi said that the Indian clothing indtry which was so prominent didn’t get its due post India’s independence. Since, 2014 there was a major shift in the promotion of the Indian clothing industry, he added. He said that through initiatives like ‘Mann ki Baat’ there was an attempt made to popularize Indian clothing including Khadi.
