We suck at Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes |Ultrawide, No VR|
I was supposed to put on my VR headset for this but I said nah, and so I did not.
I do not think this really needs a pros and cons section. Simply put, this is how this game is played.
The other parties (preferably in the same room together looking at the same screen) are tasked with guiding you through on how to solve the puzzles. There are a multitude of puzzles and each stage that you progress, they get progressively more difficult. They are always randomised of course. You must describe elements of the puzzles to your crew on the other side, as well as identifying characteristics from the case. Your crew is responsible for taking that information and cross referencing it to the bomb diffusion guide book and walking you through on how to beat each mini game.
All of this must be completed before the timer runs out. I always thought that this game was easier than it seemed but this is a lot more challenging than I expected.
It is relatively important that your crew is reading from the same text. We had a few people each looking at their own text because they were in different locations so we were not as efficient. Usually in either scenario however, one person tends to take over the conversation once they are in tune with the diffuser, as was the situation here.
Overall, a very fun game, especially if you are playing it drunk.
