13Written December 20, 2019, this is a piano arrangement of the gospel hymn, “We Will Understand It Better By and By,” also known as “Trials Dark On Every Hand.” It begins in C Major, moves through A Flat and A major before returning to C Major with various moods from reflective to country gospel. When I was a youth growing up in a small church in Alabama, this was always our favorite hymn to sing on Sunday nights. See the text to the first verse and chorus below. Hope you enjoy!
