When equipped, the Mantreads reduce the knockback received from enemies (including airblast) by 75%; this does not apply to the player's own weapons and so does not impede rocket jumping. In addition, whenever the player lands on an enemy, if the fall was long enough to cause fall damage to the player, the enemy will be dealt triple the fall damage the player received. While blast jumping, air control is increased by 200%.
