I went over the midterm one more time and then summarized the most important parts of being a critical thinker:
1) Questioning everything (not that you should not believe everything, just to think about it and assess evidence as it comes in)
2) Weigh pros and cons (almost nothing interesting in life is a perfect choice - people are usually mixtures of good and bad, and big decisions like choosing to protect a forest is never all upside and no downside)
