Lost Boys
The CW has had the Lost Boys on its proverbial plate for about 2 years now. Production Weekly has just got their hands on the first official synopsis, which sounds pretty familiar:
“After 25 years away from home, Lucy Emerson (who is at the end of her financial rope) returns home to the small California beach town of Santa Carla, to live with her father Frank and teach at the local high school. But Lucy either doesn't know or doesn't share the town's big secret with her two sons, Michael and Sam: Santa Carla has a nest of vampires secreted inside the city limits, and they are getting hungrier by the day.”

A Quiet Place 2
Deadline is reporting that John Krasinski is OFFICIALLY directing the sequel, and Emily Blunt is also returning as the Bad-ass MOM Evelyn Abbott. Production is set to begin this July and the release date is set for May 15, 2020.

ANOTHER potential new character has leaked due to data minors. This one is named Prophet and will seemingly have some sort of precognitive powers.
Mortal Kombat 11
Rumors abound about who the remaining fighters will be. While the open character slots become less and less, Carry-Hiroyuki Tagawa who played Shang Tsung in the original movie has left some pretty interesting, and cryptic, posts on his twitter. Perhaps we WILL be getting the sorcerer after all. And with Boon’s tease earlier talking about faces, perhaps it will be Tagawa himself portraying the OG bad guy in the game.

Steam may have just leaked the Outer Worlds release date. August 6th.

Comic Books
Spider-Man/Deadpool
Marvel just released their pre-Previews info, and in there they made the announcement that the popular crossover book will officially end this May with issue number 50.
Spider-Bite
Because there aren’t enough Spider-folk in the Marvel universe, the sixth issue of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will introduce ANOTHER one. Little is known about Spider-Bite at the moment but he appears to be another youngster who looks very much like the original, based on the cover art.
Diamond Reports
2019 comic book sales were up 10% over last year according to Diamond Comic Distributors.With Marvel, DC, and Image rounding out the top 3 companies. Is this a positive sign for the industry?
