Week 14 of the Weekly Runs!!! series is finally upon us. The choice for this week is Quest Of Dungeons! It's an extremely fun turn-based dungeon crawling roguelike game. You gain loot, exp, and levels. You gain skills and spells as well. If you liked Hack, Slash, Loot and wanted a little more out of it or you are a big fan of Dungeons Of Dredmor but feel it might be a bit TOO complex, then THIS is your middle ground. The graphics are minimalist but not bad, the sounds and music are well done and the gameplay is very nice. You get loot from killing stuff and opening chests and your skills are found the same way in the form of skill books or tomes. No clumsy skill trees or crazy keyboard commands here. Just a combination of mouse clicky clicks, keyboard movement (If you want it) and your skill. Really fun game, check it out.
My thanks goes out to David Amador for his contribution to the roguelike genre. The guy was nice enough to send me a review copy and I can't thank him enough. The game is fairly fast paced and a ton of fun. If you liked what you saw and want to get your hands on the game, OR you want more info about the game, check out these sites:
