Wege in den Beruf: German Infinitive and Present Tense Conjugation
Wege in den Beruf: German For Your Career is a massive open online course (MOOC) for teaching business German to students at the secondary and post-secondary levels of education. There is no cost for students wishing to participate in the course, and German language instructors are free to modify and deploy the instruction and course materials in a manner they see fit.
This HD subtitled video teaches you about the infinitive verb form in German and the basic conjugation pattern for German verbs. In addition, you learn about variations on this conjugation pattern for verbs with roots ending in -d and -t, and verbs with roots ending in -z, -s, or -ß. There are also some irregular verbs that occur frequently, "sein" and "haben," and the video will introduce these to you as well. Finally, the video will teach you how to apply what you have learned to complete the associated online course activity.
