WEIRD MEGA MAN X 1 GLITCH????????????????????????????????????
1I went over at my friend's house and there was this weird-ass glitch when we were playing MMX1 on her PC, basically:
- We played using ZSNES and the US ROM of MMX1 from doperoms, playing with a keyboard that's a little glitchy (enters the same buttons twice rather than once randomly, we assumed that may have somehow caused the glitch???????? but that doesn't make much sense because hitting Z or X or directional keys more than once shouldn't cause weird ass glicthes cause you do that in the game anyway right)
- The glitch starts out at any point of the opening stage
- We couldn't pick up any health refills or ammo unless we were standing directly under where they were gonna fall? Like, the moment the drops would hit the ground they'd disappear
- The password screen would randomly pop up with different passwords each time, it seemed to mostly happen whenever X got hit or when he hit something else with his X buster
- Right before the recorded part of this video, we were up against that floating ship that dropped those red cars, and X died to one of the red cars landing on him then Vile popped up (as X was dying) and then just kept doing whatever the hell he's doing in the video
- When we died to the car instead of the normal white flashing orbs coming out of X as he died, some sort of robots came out - *I* think, it looked like robot birds flapping their wings or something but don't take my word for it because I barely saw it properly because I was staring at Vile falling into the screen. But whatever it was it wasn't the usual white orbs that come out of X
- We didn't get to restart the level, Vile just kept jumping around endlessly
