Weird Tiny Icon Windows 10 Desktop is it a virus no just MSI scaring me!
I recently noticed a very small (a few pixels) icon or something on my Windows 10 desktop!
I thought it might be a virus or malware that was trying to hide in plain sight on my computers screen.
After some investigation it seems the files and the program causing this are from MSI or Microstar International as they are otherwise known.
Dick move MSI! I was genuinely thinking I was hacked or the system was compromised, not a nice feeling.
For those of you out there that have been pixel peeking and noticed it - I feel your raised heart beats! Mine certainly was for a while.
Moral of the story, bloatware is bloatware, please please MSI have a word with yourselves. Is all this crap really necessary? And at least give us the options to remove the crap we don't need or ever know about.
