7In the first Weird Wednesday we take a look at Salt a game in (surprise surprise) early access but with the notable plus point of having a free and mostly fully functional demo available through steam so you can sample the gameplay without dropping any cash.
In this quick look Weird Wizard dives into some salt gameplay as the salty seadog One Eyed Wizard and talks about some of the games best (and worst) features. I should probably say here and now that this is very much first impressions gameplay, many things are in the game that I never encountered either on camera or off so take what I have to say with a pinch of salt... chortle chortle ;)
Salt is a game based around exploration and adventure where you sail across a vast ocean exploring different islands. The world of Salt is procedurally generated, providing you with an endless amount of exploration. During your adventure you will meet various challenges and obstacles that you will have to overcome, as well as discovering the real story behind the world of Salt. You will fight pirates, hunt animals for food, defend yourself from enemies at night, sail the ocean waves, craft items from resources you find throughout the world, and discover mysterious places throughout your adventure.
