While a great storyline or competitive play can make a game worth playing, sometimes it's the Easter eggs that really get gamers talking. Many players don't take the time to unlock all the bonus material, which makes these bonuses more exclusive. Have you heard of these 10 weird unlockable characters listed before?

1. Fighting Vipers - Pepsiman
Unfortunately, only Japanese gamers had a chance to unlock the unusual Pepsiman mascot when playing Fighting Vipers on the Sega Saturn. The bonus character was removed from other versions of the game. Most people outside of Japan wouldn't have recognized the country's Pepsi mascot, anyway.

2. Ready 2 Rumble: Round 2 - Bill & Hillary Clinton
Bill and Hillary moved from the white house to the boxing ring in this Dreamcast game. Players could don boxing gloves at characters that were labeled as "Mr. President" and "The First Lady" and styled after the political couple.

3. Saints Row 3 - Toilet
We can't imagine that most people were clamoring for a chance to play as a toiler, but Saints Row 3 gave players the option, anyway. Although the toilet becomes playable after completing the game, you can easily unlock this bonus character sooner on the community site.

4. Need For Speed 2 - T-rex
Entering the simple cheat code "go43" unlocks a playable T-rex in Need For Speed 2. Players can then "drive" it on tracks. Gamers can also unlock a dinosaur-themed car.

5. Resident Evil 2 - Tofu Survivor
Tofu Survivor is a minigame that can be unlocked by completing the 4th Survivor or purchased as DLC. Gamers can play as a giant piece of Tofu which speaks Japanese, but some dialog remains in English. You would think the obviously carnivorous zombies would pass on a piece of Tofu... But they're apparently omnivores...

6. Tekken 3 - Gon
Gon is a cute yellow dinosaur that players can unlock in Tekken 3 after breathing him in Ball Mode or getting a high score in Survival Mode and entering "GON" as the player's name instead of their initials.

7. Tony Hawk's Skate 3 - Meat Man
Complete the Hall of Meat challenges, and you'll be able to play as either Dem Bones, a skeleton, or Meat Man, a T-bone skate, during free skate. Don't ask us how a steak skates. We don't know, either.

8. Timesplitters: Future Perfect - So many
Timesplitters: Future Perfect has a dizzying number of unlockable characters. However, other bonuses might be more interesting top players. There are various character body distortions in addition to paintball mode, slow-motion deaths, cardboard characters, and different environment art.

9. Spiderman The Movie: The game - Green Goblin
Beating the game on hard mode unlocks Green Goblin. Gamers might also appreciate the prototype Spidey costume designed by Alex Ross that's playable after beating the game on normal.

10. Sega Fighter's Mega Mix - Hornet
Unlock the Hornet, a car that stands on its back wheels and boxes with its from wheels and has two costumes in this game. Take too many punches and shelves will fly off, revealing its engine.

What's the coolest character you've ever unlocked?
