hey cool. it's sort of a face reveal. I did this for a project for my AP World History class and was somewhat proud of it. I mean, all the clips in this video were from the latter half of my recording session so it's not my best singing but it's solid I guess.

Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
Welcome to America! Please unpack your bags—
We are starting a new country to kick out the lobsterbacks
We've got 27 grievances, hear our complaints
Oh, by the way, we’re getting rid of the saints

[Verse 2]
Welcome to America! —No need to blow a fuse
(pause) We would like to see how our money is being used
Monarchy’s terrible; It’s quite outdated
You shouldn’t eat our food or sleep on our bed

[Verse 3]
Welcome to America! Listen to our pledge
Would you like to fight for natural rights or Women’s suffrage?
Have Jackson! And Hancock! And George Washington!
(pause) These are the leaders of the revolution

[Verse 4]
Welcome to America! We do not abide
Here's a tip for fighting redcoats: Keep your musket by your side
Give us life, liberty, give us happiness
Give us the freedom of speech and the freedom of press

[Verse 5]
Welcome to America! Thanks for being here
We have just received a message from our good friend, Paul Revere
“The British are coming!” Oh, what should we do?
What do you mean? We need to gather the crew!

[Verse 6]
Call the Minutemen and battle. Sew with Betsy Ross
You can call us Yankee-Doodles. It will benefit our cause
Join the Army, they won't harm Me, bring it up to the committee
Criticize monarchy, do not pay the fees, toss the tea into the sea
Tables turn at Saratoga, Starve at Valley Forge
Capture Cornwallis in Yorktown; Stick it up to the King, George
We're fighting for our freedom, Look at what we’ve written
We declare our independence, Break free from Britain

[Chorus]
Could I interest you in liberty all of the time?
A little bit of liberty all of the time?
Boston was a tragedy, and royalty’s a crime
Sovereignty and liberty, all of the time
Could I interest you in liberty all of the time?
A little bit of liberty all of the time?
Boston was a tragedy, and royalty’s a crime
Sovereignty and liberty, all of the time
