After reaching the tower and finding out that Dominic's group did not make it, we find out that the radio guy is Colonel Ryder White, a high rank officer in charge of Banoi Island Defense Force and he has been communicating with us from an isolated prison protected by a minefield. He also informs us that his wife is sick and the four main characters has been in contact with the infected, but none of them turned. Their blood could be used to create an antidote.
