Welcome to the Spider Verse | Spider-Man Short
28,918The original Spider Verse comics are just... Awful. They are some of the most needlessly violent and poorly written pieces of Spider-Man media of all time, so it's insane to me when I happen across a couple of sweet moments in them from time to time while scouring my old Marvel comics to find bits to do comic dubs with.
That, and the fact that the concept managed to create a spectacular movie against all odds from the CREATORS OF THE EMOJI MOVIE just tells that someone HAD to have made some kinda deal with Mephisto behind that project, you know? It's almost TOO good.
Anyway, I don't recommend any of the Spider Verse comics outside of the few and far in-between comics that just focus on the Spidey's from alternate universes doing their own thing without getting insta KO'd by Morlun like they are half the time in Dan Slott's wannabe Animated Series rip-off.
