There’s nothing better than playing new games on an old system and today we’re doing exactly that with Ooze from Bubbkesoft with the physical copy on tape from Bum Fun Gaming on the ZX Spectrum.
Ooze was recommended to me by a few of my good friends in the community and well, they were right. A very addictive game indeed. If you love your speccy then you should definitely try this!

Andy Johns is back after breathing new life into Monty Mole with a brand new original title, Ooze. Escape from a top secret, automated research facility and find your way to the planets surface in this exciting action platformer that subverts gravity itself to bring some seriously mind bending gameplay to the ZX Spectrum. Doffing it’s cap to the systems rich heritage of fantastic platform games, Ooze cranks things up a notch to take in more modern gameplay elements from excellent platformers such as VVVVVV and mixes them all into a cohesive and addictive whole. If you loved Andy’s Monty games and are a fan of platformers in general then this is a must buy. It’s had rave reviews both online and in retro gamer magazine and is presented here for the first time on cassette in co-operation with Bubblesoft.
