"La Chrysalide dโ€™Orphรฉe" ("Orpheus' Chrysalis") tells of the ten-step initiatory trip of a pilgrim poet. Four steps on the surface. Three in Hell. Two to die. One on Olympus. Guided by Love, Orpheus will go through Hell to find Eurydice, will come back without her and will be sacrificed by the Maenads to reach the gods of Olympus and drink with them the divine ambrosia in contemplation of the Absolute.

All songs composed by Werna Wolf in July 2022 using Logic Pro and an AKAI Timbre Wolf synthesizer as midi keyboard, except for "Le Sacrifice d'Orphรฉe", which was improvised on a ROLAND Juno G used as midi keyboard and Reason in 2009.
