Western Digital Drive Not Registering in P.O.S.T. Or Asus Bios Repair Solution

Western Digital 1 TB drive was registering as 0gb in Asus Bios. Failing to boot . The solution here was cleaning excessive oxidation on on of the HDD control circuit board contact points. If the problem is not as obvious as contact point oxidation, it may also be a goid solution to buy an exact copy of the drive, and swap out the circuit board. That would save you the trouble of replacing the damaged drive's data. I had a Unity project on this drive with months of work on it. So glad I was able to salvage it.
