There's a very simple rule that Rogue Trader Perun lives by - try not to be an idiot.

And one of the classic ways to be an idiot it to act like you've won before you have actually done so. Sports teams getting lazy with ten to play because they're ahead, businesses that assume their winning streak will run forever...and military and political leaders who assume a war is won just because of some battlefield victories are all examples of how that can go wrong.

In this episode, to keep things moving I have to remove a ten minute rant targeting the Governor of the planet we're on - because he seems to think that us saving the power plant and bringing down "Aurora" is reason enough to move straight into a victory parade down a public street.

This is stupid, but out of respect for the local authorities, we have to do it.

The results that follow are about as good as you'd expect - and lead to some pretty rough choices.
