Whale of a Time is a really interesting game combining elements of Eagle Mountain and other Ainsworth treasures. The base game is a lines-based game where you win by landing winning paylines. In addition, certain Progressives and Bonus Prizes can be won by landing 5-of-a-kind line wins although for the Progressives, you need to be betting max. The type of prize is determined by the 5-of-a-kind symbol and whether or not it contained wild symbols or not.
The bonus is triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols for 8 free games and each time the special "Bonus Games" symbol lands in reel 3, a Feature Game is accumulated and all are played after the standard bonus games are played. During the feature, all wins are multiplied as follows:
Game 1: 2x
Game 2: 3x (if triggered)
Games 3 or more: 5x (if triggered)
In addition, special bonus symbols have now been added to reels 1 and 5 and if they land, all positions between them are transformed wild.
