9What about the money? coming to terms with Magic the gathering. Where we look, we see a lot of cheap Magic the gathering cards. we see cards literally worth pennies, where some cards still hold good value. the prices of products have come to the point where the Expected Value of a box has become equal or less than the value of cards pulled from a box. But all together the value a box is based on the format you play. Funny enough, the value of a card can't always be determined by the monetary value anymore. meaning a card is not always good because it is worth some "bookoo" bucks. Magic has become a game of synergies and combos. A game of discovery, CARDS are still fun to mess and play around with. in simple terms, the monetary value does not show you the power level of cards. in this theory, cards become valuable because the amount of people who want a single card based on the print run. a simple Demand over the supply. it's true, supply over demand still reigns true. this is relevant in and by today's standard. a lot of people build naya colored Dinosaur decks. but not everybody builds 5 color dinosaur decks. so synergies depend on your creativity. and creativity may go with or against, supply and demand.
