What Happened To The Found Footage Genre?
Throughout the many phases of horror movies, one of the most popular was certainly the found-footage era. After the late 90s and into the late 2010s, it seemed that most horror movies in the theaters and on Netflix all incorporated the found-footage style of filmmaking. And like most popular things, found-footage became so popular that it overstayed its welcome, and today it’s all but entirely dead.
