What happens if you DON'T defeat W4R-D3N at Bloodshot Stronghold :: Borderlands 2

I love the Borderlands series. I've probably put more time in it than any other, which is saying something given my love for other games.
All that time, and yet I always come across something new, which forever makes me happy. In this case, I'd remembered from the old E3 or such where they first showed the game that you could defeat W4R-D3N right after he takes Roland inside the Bloodshot Stronghold, before he makes it to the "final battle" spot (I don't believe this is possible in modern versions.)
But in looking it up, I learned something else about the mission! What I NEVER knew was that the "final battle" on top of the dam was actually a timed mission, and it was possible to not defeat W4R-D3N fast enough, and have the constructor take Roland away to Friendship Gulag. I never knew that FG had any other reason for existing outside that one treasure quest from Mordecai!
This is recorded off the PS4 share video, as I decided to save it after already going through the mission. I see literally no benefits of NOT destroying W4R-D3N on the Dam, as there's no special loot or such, but it was still cool to learn about this!
