In Chapter 22 (Solo) of Path of Radiance, Ike must save the hostage priests from Schaeffer and his goons.

If Tomenami and all the priests survive, then you will get a special Ashera Staff. If all priests die, well, you get what you see in the video. If Tomenami dies but at least one priest is alive, then that priest will replace him in the subsequent dialog.

It is worth noting that two priests are particularly hard to kill, because they are in an area where only long range moves will work. I had to use Meteor to take them down. So this is definitely not something one would encounter in normal gameplay. You absolutely have to do this on purpose to even get this dialog to show up.

In summation, if you actually saw this dialog while playing the game, you are either a YouTuber who is milking a video series where he kills FE units, or you are an absolute monster. Literally Hitler. I hope you are proud of yourself for this.
