After a couple days of sitting back and thinking, I realized, Bayonetta 3 is sceduled to release, this same year. With Nier automata dominating the action adventure genre this year.
Is it possible, that Nintendo could be holding bayonetta 3's potential back, and will we ever know how good bayonetta could have been on other platforms?

Since Bayonetta 2's announcement, people have been dreading the fact that the WiiU was the only console to have it.
Saying how nintendo wasn't the right home for a franchise like bayonetta.

Couls it be possible the switches hardware will only hold back the franchise from the inevitable evolution that all games have gone through over the years?
