You know what path to walk is very hard? Love. Love is a hard path to walk. Does that seem contradictory? Love is supposed to make you feel good. It’s supposed to make you happy. So how in the world could I reach the conclusion that love is a hard path to walk? Well, its simple. Love isn’t about you. Love is about someone else. Your connection to them. Your sacrifices for them. But there is somewhat of a selfish point in love, because humans are flawed. Or perhaps the hardship of love is DUE to the selfishness of humans. Being imperfect, we can’t help but think about the scary future. What if its not right? What if its wrong? What if… What if I get hurt? These topics are something we all think about. I’m sure you’re thinking about it too, random viewer suddenly identifying with the voice on the screen. Love is hard, but its worth chasing. Maybe you confessed to someone, or maybe you’re afraid that your choices are wrong. I’m not here to make that decision for you. Just to tell you that you’re not alone. Everyone who has ever pursued love has to fight for it. Madara once talked about dualities, and one that he mentioned was the inevitability of pain within love. The Uchiha were painfully aware of that. No Mangekyo user ever DIDN’T understand it. And while I might bag on it sometimes, Sarada’s way of Awakening her Mangekyo made a LOT of sense. Not hatred. Hatred doesn’t awaken the Mangekyo. Pain born from love does, and Sarada witnessed that. Love is hard. And maybe that’s the story I wanna tell today. So how about we get into that?
