The Hidden Leaf isn’t very good with friends. It never has been. Konoha has never played nice with others, which is likely why 4 World Wars broke out, 5 if we’re counting video games. That was something that always irked me about Konoha. Despite it being hailed as the coolest, strongest, most bestest village in the world, they tended to have a lot of massacres. Some they even did on purpose! The Uchiha were massacred, and Sasuke used this whole plot point for motivation to become basically Anakin Skywalker. But nobody realizes that Naruto experienced this as well in a way. Uzushiogakure. A village where the famed Uzumaki Clan were born and raised. Close friends with Konoha, the other nations feared what they could become. So they waited until nobody was looking and sacked the joint like it was Tom Brady. And Konoha was like “Lol. Okay.” And just stopped paying attention. But let’s stop for a moment and wonder what could have happened if Naruto decided to try and revive it.
