Mimicry is one of the more important techniques in all of anime, and depending upon the potency, can be truly broken. We see bits and pieces of it everywhere. From Goku’s ability to learn or resist any technique after experiencing it once, to the likes of Rimeru Tempest, the Slime from that one anime I really need to watch who everyone tells me solos Goku. But even within Naruto, such techniques are still common. Kakashi himself is nicknamed “The Copy Ninja” due to his ability to copy any Ninjutsu he sees with his Sharingan, which is still a pretty broken ability. But Kakashi’s version does have its limitations. While Kakashi may copy any Ninjutsu he sees, he can’t copy everything, in particular, Kekkei Genkai, or techniques his body simply isn’t capable of producing. That’s the aspect that we’re going to change today. But instead of it being Kakashi, we’re going to make it Naruto. Anyone Naruto fights, if he beats them, he gains the ability to use their Ninjutsu. But I do ask for a bit of your patience. See, there’s a lot of techniques in the Naruto world, and I may not remember them all, which means if I accidentally don’t use a technique that may solve an issue, that’s because either I forgot about it, or… y’know… thought that wouldn’t be fun.
