If you could go back in time, and do it all over again, if you could change anything in your life… what would it be? That’s the concept of this video and it’s predecessor. Giving Naruto not only the knowledge to change the future, but the strength and power to as well. But some things exist beyond the purview of man’s finite knowledge. For living within the 4th Dimension, we perceive very little of it besides the current moment, and a hazy memory of things that once were, an abstract recreation of events within our own head that often cannot be trusted the further back they go. Have you ever pulled up a memory of your favorite video game and suddenly realized that you couldn’t read the text on the screen in that memory, despite you remembering it being there? Memories aren’t perfect, and that creates fallacy in Naruto’s way of thinking. But further still, the future is just as unknown. By merely existing with his memories and powers in the past, Naruto may have destroyed the future, and is merely working off of a belief that it’s all okay. Naruto may have his memories, and he may have his abilitieis, but this does not mean he is in control of the situation. As always, fate comes into play, and it often times punishes those that attempt to change it. Anakin Skywalker for example. He witnessed the future twice during his tenure as a Jedi, and during that time, he attempted to change both. In attempting to save Padame, it lead him down a path of darkness, which ultimately led to him being the reason she died. Such a thing is possible for Naruto as well. So the question remains, if he continues to change things, will it ultimately lead to the destruction of the world? Or a happy future set out to make the future he dreamed of even more possible. And the question is, what is he willing to sacrifice for the greater good? Well, let’s see if we can’t answer that question today, my Amagites. Turn your gaze to the moon and allow us to cast you under one of an infinite number of Tsukuyomi and explore the possibilities of a world where Naruto was reborn with all of his memories and abilities.
