The "Sonic What If?" based on an infamous question from the SXSW 2019 Sonic panel.. returns, in all its nonsensical glory.

Thanks to the exploits of both Sonic and Eggman last time - the fiendish funnyman.. Joker, was expelled back to the world from whence he came. But nonetheless, Sonic's friends have been cast across the muliverse by the jester - lodged within some universe or another. Using the Phantom Ruby in tandem with the seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic now takes a dimension-trotting trek in the hopes of procuring his missing allies. In a dark, unfamiliar land - the blue-blur's search is impeded by.. Eggman? The Doctor was on good terms with Sonic before his departure, right?

The seeds of Joker's schemes have only just begun to sprout, and the mad scientist's disturbing demeanor lends credence to this fact. An unknown blunder transforming him into a villain more cracked and cackling than before. Sonic now faces what could quite possibly be the most cunning foe he's ever contended against. A gifted IQ score of 300; blended with the mental-derangement of the clown prince of crime. For the sake of his friends and to combat such a diabolically unerring force, the hedgehog hero must undergo his own "transformation".. reinventing himself to become a crackling, cloak and dagger crusader.
