Megagames are best thought of as massively multiplayer boardgames. 50 or more players taking part in the same game at the same time. Elements of roleplaying, wargames, video games, card games... they all factor into megagames.

Mirror State is the megagame series I co-designed. This video explains what a megagame is, and gives an overview of our 2019 game Mirror State Underground.
