What is AppleCare and Should You Get It?
AppleCare + is Apple's exclusive warranty program with a fancy name. Essentially, when you buy a new Apple product, it comes with a limited warranty called AppleCare. As with most warranties, you are able to extend AppleCare to AppleCare+, which extends the time of coverage that your Apple product has.

About this video: This video will walk you through what exactly AppleCare is and if you should get it. This video is all personal opinion about AppleCare and AppleCare+.
AppleCare is a warranty for Apple Products that covers your purchase and any accessories that you bought with the product. What should you do when your MacBook battery needs service? Use AppleCare and take it to Apple. The AppleCare you purchased will cover your MacBook battery. If your charging cable for your MacBook or iMac breaks, you can take it to Apple if it is covered under warranty or AppleCare.
All Apple products are sold with a limited warranty, usually up to one year. This is the standard AppleCare for products. If you purchase additional coverage, your AppleCare warranty changes to AppleCare+, and it still covers the same amount of problems. The difference is, you become a priority in their support system, and the care you will get is much better than standard AppleCare.
So, now that you know what AppleCare and AppleCare+ are, should you get it?
For iPhones, it's probably best to stick to normal AppleCare that is sold with every new iPhone by standard. If you have a tendency to crack the screens of an iPhone, you should get the extra protection of AppleCare+.
For Mac, you should always get AppleCare+. The cost isn't bad, and the coverage and safety net on such expensive computers really makes AppleCare+ worth the money.
For iPads, you should get AppleCare+. It is going to cover cracked screens, some minor water damage, and other issues with your iPad under this AppleCare warranty.
AppleCare+ for the Apple Watch is a must-have for me. I know one day I will crack the screen of my Apple Watch Series 2, and this will cover that with the warranty of AppleCare+.
