This is Tech Talk from The Lab, where Blue Shirts use the latest tech and tell you what they love about it. Today, Max takes us through the wonderful world of extended reality or XR. So, what is XR? Well, it’s a lot of things.

XR can include Virtual Reality (VR), and the simulated worlds, games and events that can be created within tech like the Oculus Quest 2.

XR can also encompass Augmented Reality (AR), which acts like more of a window to another reality living on top of our own world.

XR can even include newer breakthroughs like Mixed Reality (MR), which overlays graphics and interfaces on top of your line of sight through specialized lenses.
