While at the Gaming Community Exo 2023, I ran into Dr. Jean-Luc Williams of Guardians MH. Guardians Mental Health is a 501c3 nonprofit mental health organization that is focused on spreading mental health awareness and meaningful resources throughout the gaming space. They provide first step support with gathering resources, peer support and where to find a mental health professional near you. They are not a replacement for dedicated professional help.

While chatting at GCX 2023, Dr. Williams talked about the effects of video gaming on mental health, what is Guardians MH, and how they got started. Guardians MH does have an ambassador program for those wanting to help spread the word.
