Hey guys and gals, laidesman here bringing you my first video in the "what is it" series. In this series I will be talking about various stuff and what they are. Mostly stuff online. I mostly wanted to try something new and since the Microsoft Rewards is now an app on xbox. I thought this would be the perfect time to do so.

Now, lets get this out first. I am not sponsoured or have ever been sponsoerd by Microsoft or Xbox, although I would not say no to Microsoft for a sponsership. But hey, with that outa the way…lets get into it.

Now what is Microsoft Rewards? Or "wewards" as I say it.

It is basically like those store rewards program. Where you spend money to get points. When you start you get 1 point fot every dollar spent. So you barely get a cent back, at least for level one.

But what are levels? And are there any other ways you can earn points?

Well, levels are basically where you stand in the rewards program. There are only two levels at the moment, but it is really three.

You start at level one, but if you earn 500 points in one month you go to level 2

At level 2 you get exclusive offeres, and a discount in the rewards store. You also get 20 points per dollar spent. So you basically get $0.02 back for every dollar, which is not bad for something you get for free.

Now what are points? And what can you use them for?

Points are what you get for buying stuff through microsoft, and by doing other stuff. What sort of "other stuff"? Like quizzes, downloading xbox apps, buying certain games at a certain time. And by using bing.

At level one you get 3 points with every bing search at a max of 30

At level two, they make it a little bit harder if you only want to use an xbox. You can earn 150 points a day with bing. But it has to be with mobile and a PC, I hope they also add an xbox one in there for the future.

Now, quizzes and downloading apps is also a great way to earn points and that is how I got to level 2 quickly. Quizes are easy and you don't even have to get it correct on your first try. You can honestly spam answers untill you get the right answer. Which is an easy 10-60 points.

You also get extra points for certain games at certain times, like the other day it was to buy Bioshock Infinite for the 360 and get an extra 3000ish points.


Now, what are points used for?

Points can be exchanged for xbox gift cards (4800 for a $5, and so furth with it becoming cheaper to buy in bulk.) You can also enter monthly giveaways for a fitbit, Xbox One X, and a Tablet. You can also bet your points for a chance to win various stuff, which I have yet to actually win. You can even donate your points for money to a charity.


So is it microsoft rewarss worth it? I would say yes, once you get to level 2 you can start to earn some good pocket change. Plus free money for just searching in bing.
