Hey all! So do you remember when I said I figured out what the algorithm change was and how it was going to be affecting channels in the near future? Well, I decided to run an experiment to see what the algorithm looks at, and what it might ignore. Turns out, Titles, are absolutely the most important thing for the algorithm now, and this may be in part due to Youtube Shorts being thrown into the mix. I show the data I use to support this hypothesis, and I believe that having great titles that capture SEO well, are going to be the key to getting more views on Youtube.
